Just cut it all off

Ask me anything   Submit!   I'm Rachel, 18 year old photographer and cosmetology student from Pittsburgh, PA. I have short hair, I love short hair, come look at all the short hair and then go cut all your hair off.

FAQ #1: "My face is round and fat, would I look good in a pixie cut? Which one?"

A #1: There is an amazing pixie cut for every face shape. Having a "fat face" does NOT exclude you. Seriously. But which pixie cut cannot be determined by me looking at a picture. You need to speak to your stylist, they can take your head shape, forehead, ears, eyes, cheeks, and jaw into consideration with a 365 view that I do not have.

FAQ #2: "I don't know how to style my pixie! What products should I use?"

A#2: You need a feel for your own hair and it's abilities. Every style is different with every cut, obviously, but I recommend that every person with a pixie cut works a texturizer through every bit of almost-dry hair, every time. Texturizing WILL save your hair's life.

With a pixie cut, you have so many layers contributing to a whole shape, but short hairs will not cooperate without product, because that's just how hair is. If you used a picture for the cut, use that as inspiration to style your hair. If you didn't, find pictures! That's what I'm here for!

Cactus Flower marked Ingrid Bergman’s return to making films following a long hiatus. This time, we see a completely different side of her - her knack for comedy. Bergman’s comic timing was pitch-perfect in this film that most of its hilarity came from her character alone, even outshining her co-star Walter Matthau, who was a distinguished veteran in the said genre. Goldie Hawn made a fantastic film debut as the poppy-eyed Toni, whose timing was as perfect as Bergman’s. Cactus Flower is a downright hilarious movie, owing it all to the performances of the two leads.
HIGHLIGHT: Ingrid Bergman showing her moves in a nightclub.
DOWNSIDE: Bergman and Hawn stole most of the film’s comedic moments, leaving none for Walter Matthau, who, in the end of the film, seemed dispensable.
RATING: 8 out of 10 for entertainment value and topnotch performances
