Just cut it all off

Ask me anything   Submit!   I'm Rachel, 18 year old photographer and cosmetology student from Pittsburgh, PA. I have short hair, I love short hair, come look at all the short hair and then go cut all your hair off.

FAQ #1: "My face is round and fat, would I look good in a pixie cut? Which one?"

A #1: There is an amazing pixie cut for every face shape. Having a "fat face" does NOT exclude you. Seriously. But which pixie cut cannot be determined by me looking at a picture. You need to speak to your stylist, they can take your head shape, forehead, ears, eyes, cheeks, and jaw into consideration with a 365 view that I do not have.

FAQ #2: "I don't know how to style my pixie! What products should I use?"

A#2: You need a feel for your own hair and it's abilities. Every style is different with every cut, obviously, but I recommend that every person with a pixie cut works a texturizer through every bit of almost-dry hair, every time. Texturizing WILL save your hair's life.

With a pixie cut, you have so many layers contributing to a whole shape, but short hairs will not cooperate without product, because that's just how hair is. If you used a picture for the cut, use that as inspiration to style your hair. If you didn't, find pictures! That's what I'm here for!

beccaboots asked: I just need you to know that you have made me rethink nose piercings with septum piercings. I thought they'd be too much but yours looks cute! Sorry this has nothin to do with hair, but I've been debating about getting my septum done but thought I'd have to get rid of my nose piercing!

Answer:

I thought the same way, I was afraid I’d have to hide my septum or take my nostril out but I really like mine together! Have fun with it =)
